Have you read 'The Making of Tiara Skirt - Part 1' ? Ini sambungan untuk cerita seterusnya pulak! hehe

Okay basically we have released Tiara Skirt officially for online purchase on last Friday, 20 Feb 2015. What i'm about to spill is how do we get the idea for Tiara Skirt design, material and the finishing.

Ade orang tanya why satin? Simply because I'm a fan of satin and girl looks good in satin!

We did experiment on the design for few times before we finalize all the details haaa.

The most challenging part is to adjust the volume of skirt that suits most type of body. YES the design can fit from S to XL size yeayy! *please refer to size chart at bottom* If you notice the skirt gives a pretty drapes that flow beautifully and dramatically! 

Let's check out the details - what you MUST know about Tiara Skirt!

-Thick satin material, tak jarang, tak panas. Lembut bak sutera sangat selesa! Suits all occasion

-Potongan kembang (flare cut that flow beautifully)

-Semi stretchable waistband at the back

-Side zipper & hook closure. Kemasan di bahagian pinggang yang sangat rapi. Sesuai untuk tuck in or loose top!

The Making of Tiara Skirt - Part 1

Assalamualaikum princess,

How are youu? Its been so long i havent babble here kan? Kan!
Its not that i'm too busy, just finishing so many things on the list hehehe


I am so excited about this topic. SKIRTS! Who doesnt love skirt? I personally am crazeeh about skirt. I have a superr long history and connection with skirt. Pleeesh allow me to share *sorry i couldnt cut it short cause its too important to tell so bear with me pls*


I started wearing skirt when i was in my first year of study, that would be 5 years ago. Back then, jeans are super famous and dominate all the popularity. People wouldnt care about skirt. BUT I DO! The reason is *yes i have to admit* im not comfortable wearing pants generally, not to mention jeans! Maybe part of me feel like only skinny leg looks good in jeans *yeah im sorry but i was self-concsious at early 20 but i think im not the only one kot?*. Plus, its difficult to find the perfect jeans for my type of body *wheeww*


So my first skirt i bought dekat The Mines. Before that i have searched soooo many many places but i could not find the skirts that i want or they simply didnt exist! Alhamdulillah someone introduce me to this shop in Mines *its Kak Sara Afiqah if you read this hehe*. I dont really expect a shop selling chinese traditional clothes like cheongsam etc to find the skirts haha!


So after wearing it for some time, I felt soo comfortable and confident! And i searched for more and moree. Still remember when i came across this one online shop selling beautiful red chiffon skirt *very few blog selling maxi skirts waktu tu hehh* . I loved it but its too expensive *about hundred over ringgit*. And after so many frustration sebab susah sangat nak jumpa skirts online or offline i told myself, nnt aku nak buat skirt untuk diri sendiri yang cantik, puas hati huarghhh!


I rarely wear pants *this is very very true*, even my friend noticed when i have started wearing skirt and i wore them like all the time. So skirts has been the 'main star' in my wardrobe ever since. I always love them because its timeless, easily styled, full of graceful and elegance, most important its covering to my liking. I can easily tell which skirt suits me or not even by looking. The feeling is full of satisfaction, joy and distinguish.


I always get that look or stare when wearing skirt sebab waktu tu people seriously don't wear skirt. And few years after that, slowly our muslimah fashion trend evolve and blooming, kita dah banyak choice baju or outfit cencantik yet modestly covering at the same time, Alhamdulillah. 


I have tried wearing jeans in between skirts but i got very very uncomfortable because its too 'revealing' to me. I have nothing against jeans. don't get me wrong,but it's my personal choice to choose skirt over jeans *i use comparison between jeans and skirts because it was part of my experience*


So that's my precious experience and history with skirts. Walaupun adelaaa few stories tak cerita penuh but it's only to make it easier for you to understand, My point is i feel connected to skirts because of what it brought to my life and the values it showed me. Hence, the journey of producing my own label for skirts will be up on my next post!


My expectation, my hopes, my purpose is to share my views and opinion with other girls. Soon you will know that little things that change you, might lead to a whole new world that you are eager to know and your true passion. Its almost 2 am when i finish this writing. It is so good to finally get to share this with you and hopefully it will be beneficial to some of you, Insyaallah.

Bonafide's First Photo Shoot : Behind The Scene

Assalamualaikum.

Finally it's friday!!
Eventho to me everyday is working day but i know most of you really anticipate the weekends right? Hikss

I have some exciting story to share. Last Saturday was Bonafide official outdoor session! 
Previously we did all the shooting in our home and we kinda call it our mini studio *you will be suprised where its located*, but yes last week was our baby step towards improving our quality & exploring more opportunities

So we left home at 7 am and arrived at Masjid TTDI Shah Alam about 7.30am.

Introducing Adelin Hamdan, the bubbly MUA whom graduated from TESL but have passion for arts and performance! Our MUA started her magic touch on me straight away and by 9 am we managed to begin our photo shooting.

Discussing with the photographer is essential to ensure the end result will be satisfying for both parties!

When i started, the second model joined after half an hour. And do you know the second model is one my best friends since primary school? Couldn't get any better! Heeeeeee

To be honest, it is tiring because i did the arrangement for the outfit, tudung & accessories selection. On top of that i am the model itself but tell you what, its worth it! After all, i am satisfied with the whole process and outcome but of course there is always room for improvement. For that, i will never stop finding a way to make Bonafide a better brand, close to your heart as much as i feel.


I am very thankful and appreciate the team spirit from my model, MUA and photographer that co-operates in making all these very successful. And thank you to all Bonafide Sweetheart for all the love and supports from the beginning till now!
